SHIMANO IX1000R Rear Drag Spinning Reel
The 1000R from Shimano's IX series features a graphite frame, rotor and
a graphite spool. It has a Quick Fire II system, which is a one-stop ratchet system that automatically centers the trigger for easy, one-handed casting.
And of course, there is a handy, rear drag. The 1000R has a 4.1:1 gear ratio and holds 270 yds of 2lb, 140 yds of 4lb and 110yds of 6lb test line.
