	Hoppe’s BoreSnake for 12 Gauge Shotguns (Model 24035) The Hoppe’s® BoreSnake® gun bore cleaner cleans a bore in a matter of seconds. Slip the brass weighted end through the barrel and then grasp and pull the cleaning cord through. Not much to it. Repeat as needed until the bore is clean. The BoreSnake can be washed easily by hand.

GOOD FOR HOME DEFENSE: Thinking about a gun for home defense? A pump shotgun is a relatively uncomplicated weapon that is highly effective. Handguns, in comparison, are more difficult to aim and operate, and formal training for proper use, as well as regular shooting practice, is probably not a bad idea. A 12 gauge pump, on the other hand, is a point-and-shoot weapon, with fewer “buttons,” a true benefit at 2 a.m. Any would-be burglar or attacker will be greatly influenced by just the sound of the racking slide, or the sight of the big, black dot that is the opening of the barrel. Fitted with a short, cylinder bore barrel, most rabbit guns can easily become nasty, home defense weapons.

Lucas and his friend, Texas Jack: Lucas Mauro and a Crevalle Jack, caught June 2009 in the Gulf. The day's catch included a bunch of Kings too, and some snapper.

Texas 8-Point: Lucas with a buck shot in Coryell County, Texas with a Ruger .243 rifle.

St. John Bonefish: Zombo with a nice bonefish caught in the USVI. First bonefish. Caught on light spinning rod with small bucktail with squid strip. All that "pound for pound" stuff seems true!

Gary's Axis Buck: Gary Javore with Axis deer he took with a 115yd off-hand shot with a .300 Winchester Magnum. Shot April, 2009 at the Circle B Ranch near Rock Springs, Texas.
