.17 HMR: The .17 HMR cartridge is praised by our technical staff as being an efficient round with enough power and accuracy to drop crop-raiding groundhogs out to 200 yards. A small, frangible bullet, low report and relatively low price are among the additional features of this cartridge. A sample rig where 1 inch groups are the norm at 100 yards, shooting Hornady 17 grain .17 HMR ammo, is a bolt action Marlin 17V with a Leupold 4x12 VX-1. The .17 HMR is a great garden-guardian and crop protection round.

10/3/08 Archery Deer: Zombo with bow doe taken in Warren County, NJ during the 2008 fall archery season.
Texas Trout: Wade Reese with a 27 inch sea trout caught near Rockport, Texas on a top water lure. Nice fish!
Axis Deer: Gary Javore with Axis Deer taken at 125 yds. with a 300 Win. Mag. The deer has an antler length of 27 inches and weighed 170 lbs. dressed.
St. John Bonefish: Zombo with a nice bonefish caught in the USVI. First bonefish. Caught on light spinning rod with small bucktail with squid strip. All that "pound for pound" stuff seems true!
